2022 President Sandy McLaren receiving his chain of office from Past President Giles Passmore. Having resumed after a break for Covid the membership has remained steady at around sixty five and a number of new members have joined making it one of the most successful Probus clubs in the Scotland.

Another very successful year culminated on 8th December when a presentation on The Bill McLaren Foundation was given on her late father by Mrs Linda Lawson. Bill McLaren CBE was renowned worldwide as "the voice of rugby" and was a commentator for the BBC over many years on International rugby matches. The Hawick and District Probus Club continues to be very popular and has a large membership of between 60 and 70 members making it one of the largest Probus Clubs in Scotland. Meetings are held twice monthly in the function room of Mansfield Rugby Club.
